About This Position

The Operational Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in managing operational compliance, ensuring safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance across various sections of our waste facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of operational compliance risks, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, recorded, and managed appropriately.
  • Monitor and manage the leachate network, including pump infrastructure and drainage systems, to minimize leachate on site.
  • Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality standards and best practice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal and external customers, effectively collaborating and communicating within the team.
  • Provide thorough information and sound recommendations, analyzing operational statistical data and compiling reports for analysis and communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science in a relevant discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to interpret and communicate relevant legislative requirements.
