Medical Officer Opportunity in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

We are seeking a skilled Medical Officer to join our team in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients under supervision, while developing your expertise in medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice.
  • Contribute to the management of labour ward and gynaecology operating theatre.
  • Develop skills in leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety and risk management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Be currently registered or eligible for registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Have a minimum of 4 postgraduate years working in an acute hospital setting, with at least 12 months experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Or hold a standard pathway qualification with a minimum of 6 postgraduate years working in an acute hospital setting, with at least 2 years experience in an Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.

Other Requirements: excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise, time management, problem solving skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills, with minimum of 30 words per minute, along with evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.
