Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled medical officer to join our team in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while developing your expertise in labour ward management and gynaecology operating.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a complex clinical environment with access to experienced consultants, regular morbidity and mortality meetings, and training opportunities for CMO grade doctors.

Requirements
  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with current registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Completion of a minimum of 4 postgraduate years working in an acute hospital setting with a minimum of 12 months in Obstetrics & Gynaecology as a Career Medical Officer, Trainee, or Senior Resident Medical Officer.
  • Standard Pathway Applicants: Completion of a minimum of 6 postgraduate years working in an acute hospital setting with a minimum of 2 years in an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department working as a Career Medical Officer or Trainee.
  • Excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise with ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients.
