Chief Risk Governance Specialist

The Enterprise Risk Manager plays a crucial role in managing the risk framework, overseeing risk functions and processes across various entities. This includes providing guidance on compliance matters, designing and implementing risk assessments, and coordinating training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy to mitigate potential risks
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize areas of concern
- Serve as a resource for compliance matters, providing guidance and support as needed
- Design and execute internal control reviews to ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support the development and implementation of the company's Information Security program, including vendor risk assessments and business continuity planning
- Oversee compliance calendar management and testing, ensuring all required tests and certifications are completed
- Coordinate internal and external audit functions, scheduling and managing audits, and preparing for regulatory examinations
This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements- College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong research, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Able to self-identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Less than 5% of the time, with occasional travel necessary
