We are seeking a skilled technician to join our maintenance team in Pittsworth, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance functions, documenting all work accurately.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing components, and restoring operations to minimise downtime.
- Analyse equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend improvements or design modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems for accurate record keeping, work order management, and parts requisition.
- You hold an Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field of study, or have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- You have proven experience with PLC programming and complex machinery maintenance.
- You have experience working with complex machinery.
- You are a strong communicator, with the ability to write reports and liaise with various teams.
- A supportive team culture within a family-owned business.
- A varied and hands-on role – no two days are the same.
