About the Role

We are seeking a Product Planning Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable and electric mobility.

As a key member of our product planning team, you will be responsible for coordinating development efforts, analysing market shifts, and keeping us ahead of the competition.

  • Coordinate product planning activities with internal stakeholders to support short-, mid- and long-term future product, pricing and specification development initiatives.
  • Contribute to product launch readiness activities and work closely with Sales, PR & Marketing, and Training teams to ensure successful product introductions.
  • Track and analyse product performance across different stages of the life cycle and recommend improvements or end-of-life strategies to optimise portfolio performance.
  • Monitor automotive industry trends, market share, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to inform strategic planning and positioning and provide actionable insights to enhance product offerings, campaigns and incentives.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise monthly reports on product performance, market trends, and competitor intelligence to key stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Planning:
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, PR & Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations to drive product success.
  • Maintenance of accurate product information, including specifications, pricing, and features.
Market Intelligence:
  • Market trend analysis and identification of emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Competitor analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic planning and positioning.
Reporting and Communication:
  • Development and delivery of regular reports to key stakeholders on product performance, market trends, and competitor intelligence.
  • Presentation of insights to stakeholders and communication of complex data effectively.
Requirements:
  • A strong analytical and research capability, with a focus on product strategy and market trends.
  • Natural curiosity, collaboration, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to present insights to stakeholders and communicate complex data effectively.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in product planning, market research, or a related strategic role.
  • A strong command of market intelligence tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus.
