Leadership Role

This position is focused on leading the daily operations and compliance of a child care centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and care, as well as experience in leadership roles.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the centre runs smoothly and safely, and that educators are supported to deliver high-quality programs. They will also be expected to foster a positive and inclusive culture, and to build strong relationships with families and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure the effective operation of the centre.
  • Lead and support educators in delivering high-quality programs that meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of education and care provided at the centre.
  • Ensure that the centre meets all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with families and the broader community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it).
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least two years' leadership experience in a similar context.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Confidence in leading teams and supporting compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading curriculum development and mentoring educators.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality programs that meet learning outcomes.
