Lead Educator Position

The role of a Lead Educator is to guide and mentor early childhood educators in delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
    • Mentor and guide other educators in the room or setting to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and management to promote a collaborative environment and foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
  • A current and valid check that confirms your suitability to work with children.
  • A First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
