Centre Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring early childhood leader to lead our centre with positivity and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team, providing daily guidance, mentoring, and feedback to ensure every educator is supported and inspired.
  • Drive curriculum excellence in partnership with the Educational Leader and Curriculum Practice Manager, ensuring learning experiences are innovative, engaging, and exceed NQS expectations.
  • Oversee compliance, from rosters and ratios to documentation and health & safety, ensuring the Centre meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Build relationships with families through open communication, regular updates, and creating a welcoming community-focused environment.
  • Collaborate with head office support, working closely with the Enrolments and Recruitments teams to maintain strong occupancy and attract top talent.
  • Manage resources strategically to provide the best possible environments and materials for children's learning.
  • Monitor and analyse Centre performance, tracking KPIs, occupancy, and staff performance to continually improve outcomes.
  • Represent the centre in the community by forming partnerships with local networks, schools, and businesses.
  • Champion wellbeing and morale by fostering a positive culture, recognising achievements, and organising team-building opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years previous Director experience.
  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching Degree (ACECQA Approved).
  • Hold current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training, and Child Protection Training.
  • Be passionate about play-based learning and exceeding NQS standards.
  • Excel in mentoring and guiding educators, identifying individual strengths, and fostering a positive culture.
