Cloud Migration Expert

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as a Cloud Migration Engineer. This role involves working closely with enterprise customers to ensure a seamless transition to the cloud.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in support, software services, and/or system administration for large end-user platforms. They will be responsible for providing strategic direction to multiple enterprise customers during their journey to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the migration of enterprise customers to the cloud by identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on cloud-based technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in support, software services, and/or system administration for large end-user platforms.
  • 5+ years' experience with Enterprise Customers in a high-touch support model with governance.
  • Strong database skills and ability to write and update SQL queries.
  • Experience with networks and supporting technologies (proxies, load balancers, LDAP, SSL, etc.).
  • Understanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, JBoss).
  • Understanding of operating systems (Linux, OS X, Windows).
