As a Cloud Infrastructure Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the migration of a VMware Cloud Director environment to Azure VMware Services. In this role, you will conduct a detailed analysis of the current VMware Cloud Director setup to identify risks and develop a clear migration plan. You will design and implement a robust migration strategy, considering system architecture, performance, and security requirements. Your responsibilities will also include:

  1. Migrating the VMware Cloud Director environment to Azure VMware Services using Zerto for seamless replication and minimal downtime.
  2. Monitoring migration activities and reporting progress to ensure smooth execution with minimal business impact.
  3. Engaging with key stakeholders to align technical plans with business objectives and expectations.
  4. Delivering post-migration support, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
  5. Identifying opportunities for optimization and cost-efficiency in the new cloud environment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure migration, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, data security standards, and migration tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
