Housekeeping Coordinator Role

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage daily housekeeping schedules and operations.
  • Maintain effective communication between all aspects of the housekeeping operation to ensure service delivery standards are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance departments to coordinate room readiness and address guest needs.
  • Assist department leaders with forecasting and rostering on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Record and track staff productivity, room counts and timesheets on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills (Opera PMS experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisor, team lead or coordinator role is desired.
  • Able to work under pressure and in a busy hotel environment.
  • Flexibility when hotel operations change.
