Job Title: Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR portfolio across our diverse operations. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic objectives and enhancing our organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert insights and recommendations on strategic HR matters impacting our business priorities.
  • Lead and empower our HR team, ensuring alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Advocate for the HR function, positioning it as a trusted partner for our company leaders.
  • Design and implement complex people initiatives to improve stakeholder outcomes.
  • Identify and respond to new business opportunities, managing bids and transitions effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Oversee performance metrics and contract management to meet our company standards.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders to facilitate open dialogue and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery.
Key Experience and Skills:
  • Proven HR management experience in complex organisational environments.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering complex training programs.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation claims management and return-to-work strategies.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk management in HR functions.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all organisational levels.

We are looking for a high-energy individual who can plan and deliver on objectives in a commercial environment. You will have led the HR function across both a blue and white collar client group. Your understanding and confidence in HR systems and processes will assist you with the development and implementation of contemporary HR practices. You will have substantial HR Management experience backed by appropriate tertiary qualifications. You will enjoy leveraging outcomes and building relationships in large organisations at a leadership level, but will also be grounded enough to deal with all manner of operational issues.
