This is a multi-site role supporting our Northern Beaches (at Frenchs Forest) & Southside (at Miranda) clinics.
The role will report to Head of Pharmacy and working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.What is involvedClinically review patients and their Oncology protocolsDispensing medications and check prescriptions in accordance with PBS regulationsComplete Medication reconciliation processes, including assisting with stock & inventory managementProvide education/counselling to patientsAssist in coordinating clinical trials and compassionate access programsActive involvement in research and clinical trials, and our Oncology AMS programAttend Site Selection Visits (SSVs) & Site Initiation Visits (SIVs)Read, understand, review, and adhere to clinical trial protocols relating to investigational product (IP) compounding (where applicable), IP accountability, standard operating procedures, and reporting of the Pharmacy's role in clinical trialsContribute to quality assurance activitiesWork closely with, developing and maintaining key relationships with OncologistsDispenseAssist with stock/inventory managementCompound aseptic cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic products in a laminar flow hood
