Clinical Oncology Specialist Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team on a full-time 12-month contract with genuine potential to transition into a permanent role.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the supply of cancer therapy for hospital inpatients and day oncology unit patients, as well as developing and utilising their clinical skills to improve patient outcomes.
- Key responsibilities include performing medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation, recording clinical interventions, building relationships across multidisciplinary teams, and educating and counselling staff, patients, and allied health professionals.
- This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to gain specialised clinical experience and specialise in oncology pharmacy. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Essential Requirements:
- Valid AHPRA Pharmacist general registration with no restrictions.
- Minimum experience:
- Community Pharmacists – at least 2 years' experience in a Pharmacist role.
- Hospital Pharmacists – at least 1 year's experience in a Pharmacist role.
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from the date of employment.
