We are seeking an experienced Retail Merchandise Planning Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel/footwear big box retail and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective merchandise planning strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans across the business, collaborating with replenishment, forecasting, and sourcing teams to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Analyse sales, profit, and margin data to ensure budgets are met and profitable growth is achieved, working closely with buyers to review and implement range reviews and new products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage markdown processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising inventory waste

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in apparel/footwear big box retail, with a strong understanding of merchandising principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
