Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and preparing conceptual models and documentation for design and tendering
  • Supporting design administration through matrixes for tracking and compliance
  • Design programme development, meeting agendas and minutes, document control and version management
  • Managing RFIs, issuing and tracking consultant tender packs and assisting in consultant engagement
  • Reviewing design options with a focus on quality, constructability, and cost
  • Assisting in the selection of FF&E, interior finishes, sanitary and electrical fixtures for projects
  • Coordinating with internal and external design teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality documentation
  • Supporting the Design Manager in ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have drafting experience, a background in architectural, building design, or engineering design, tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (not essential but viewed favourably), be a proactive individual eager to grow your technical skills and thrive in a hands-on construction environment, possess strong organisational and communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence.
