Job Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Perth, Western Australia.

  • You will be the first line of defense against defects, ensuring that products meet the highest standards before they reach customers.
  • Working in partnership with warehouse and quality teams, you will identify and address defects and non-conformities on purchased parts.
  • You will plan and organise activities and resources during issue management to reduce downtime and flow-on effects to the production line.
  • You will escalate and provide solutions for ongoing non-conformities, taking a hands-on approach to inbound inspections of parts/packaging and stock levels in conjunction with logistics and quality teams.

This is a 12 month fixed term role based at our manufacturing site. You will have opportunities to work on railcar programs and enjoy benefits such as free gym memberships and secure parking.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management: Ensure all products meet high standards before reaching customers.

Partnership Working: Collaborate with warehouse and quality teams to identify and address defects and non-conformities.

Issue Resolution: Plan and organise activities and resources during issue management to reduce downtime and flow-on effects.

Solution Development: Escalate and provide solutions for ongoing non-conformities, taking a hands-on approach to inspections and stock levels.
