We're seeking an exceptional Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Beach House Restaurant & Bar. Located within the stunning One Mile Ingenia Holiday Park, our establishment offers a unique blend of relaxed beachside charm and fresh, vibrant hospitality.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cook to take on a key role in delivering high-quality meals using only the freshest local ingredients. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and supporting smooth service during busy periods.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to a high standard using fresh, local ingredients, while minimising waste and following menu guidelines.
  • Order, receive, and rotate stock efficiently, ensuring quality control and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment, surfaces, and floors.
  • Work respectfully and effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need previous experience in food preparation and cooking, as well as strong communication and basic budgeting skills. A proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work environment is essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable with lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment and cleaning products safely with PPE.
