Facilities Operations Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the optimal functioning of facilities. This involves conducting routine maintenance tasks, addressing guest repair requests, and communicating with guests to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Conduct regular visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines.
- Carry necessary equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
- Locate and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
- Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicate daily activities and encountered problems to other shifts using approved communication programs.
- Display knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills, including scheduling air handlers and adjusting temperatures.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Capacity to locate and access work-related information using computers.
