Role Overview

Job Title: Warranty Manager

The role of a Warranty Manager is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiency within a fast-paced structural steel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support customer interactions related to warranty claims, providing solutions to issues and process improvements
  • Coordinate offsite welders for field service and allocate resources effectively
  • Assess and qualify warranty vs chargeable service claims, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including detailing, manufacturing, and Key Account Managers (KAMs)
  • Interpret technical drawings and generate insightful reports from warranty data
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a warranty or operations role, preferably within structural steel or heavy manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (Tekla experience advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a high level of analytical ability
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams, with knowledge of Tekla or similar 3D modeling tools
  • Background in structural steel or steel fabrication
