About the Opportunity
  • You will teach English language programs to international students at the University's Centre for English Teaching (CET).
  • The available positions are mostly for experienced teachers of Academic English, with some opportunities for General English instructors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to student needs.
  • Avoid structural barriers by assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment that promotes cultural awareness and understanding.

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in blended learning environments.

Qualifications Required:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as linguistics, education, or literature.
  • A recognised TESOL qualification and/or NEAS Teacher Qualifications.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in teaching University-level English pathway programs and/or high-level academic English courses.
  • Curriculum development experience and ability to create engaging teaching materials.
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is desirable.
