Indigenous Language Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as an Indigenous Language Instructor.
- This is a 0.5 FTE teaching opportunity for students in primary, junior, and intermediate grades.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic education, integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum.
- To teach Indigenous language and culture to students, developing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learners.
- To assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- To communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent qualification.
- Primary/Junior/Intermediate qualifications.
- Indigenous Language Instructor's Program certification or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in Ojibwe, both oral and written, is preferred.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check prior to commencing employment.
