Job Title: Estonian Language Instructor
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estonian language instructor to work with students in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, be proficient in English, and possess excellent communication skills.
Job DescriptionThe role involves delivering 20 hours of two-to-one Estonian lessons for children aged 8 and 11 years old. The course is designed to meet the needs of beginner-level students, and classes should be held once a week, ideally on Wednesday or Tuesday afternoons. The start date is flexible and can be negotiated based on mutual availability.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive Estonian language lessons to students
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field
- Native fluency in Estonian and proficiency in English
- Teaching experience, preferably in a language instruction setting
- Able to commit to regular classes and maintain good attendance
