Help seniors live independently in their homes by supporting them with daily living tasks. We are seeking a caring and compassionate person to join our team of Home Care Support Workers in Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with older adults and enjoys helping people maintain their independence. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will work with elderly customers to assist them with daily living activities, including personal care, domestic support, meal preparation, and community access.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide domestic support, including cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and engage in social activities
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or related field (highly recommended)
  • Experience working with older adults, either in a formal or informal capacity
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Vaccinations against COVID-19 and current flu virus
