About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at Vicinity Centres. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the centre to the highest standards, ensuring customer and retailer satisfaction, and supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Manager in maintaining the centre to the agreed standards, ensuring customer and retailer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the centre, including managing projects, contractors, and workplace health & safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including retailers, customers, and centre staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre strategies and initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within shopping centre facilities management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building operations and legislation, including regulatory compliance, contractor management, and workplace health & safety.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage project costs and timelines.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
