Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments to identify compliance risks, prioritize them, and develop strategies for mitigation through compliance programs, policies, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits and site reviews to ensure adherence to compliance procedures and industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Manage and maintain thorough records of compliance activities, including audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and act as the primary point of contact for compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to create relevant compliance training materials.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to the board and management team, highlighting risks and legislative matters.

The ideal candidate requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal professionals.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving and compliance management.

We offer a salary package in the range of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
