Banksy Bar & Kitchen is a modern cafe and espresso bar located in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team.

Position: All Rounder
Hours: Casual hours/week (Casual) - Mon, Tue, and one other day
Schedule:Flexible based on experience and interest e.g. dinners, weekends, or assisting with baking and prep.
Rate:$35.00 to $37.00 / hr + Super, Bonuses, and Penalty Rates

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation & Cooking:Prepare and cook a variety of sweet and savoury dishes.
  • Equipment Maintenance:Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
  • Safety & Sanitation:Enforce food safety, sanitation regulations, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Customer Interaction:Address customer feedback and collaborate with front-of-house on food-related concerns.
  • Barista and Floor:This is an all rounder position, so there will be Front of House shifts either Barista or floor focused
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 or more years of recent experience as a Cook or Chef
  • 2 or more years Front of House experience e.g. Barista, Runner, Service
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
  • A strong understanding of health and safety
