  3. Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to kitchen protocols and service expectations.">
  4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.">
  5. Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety management systems.">
  6. Oversee food preparation and portion control to minimize waste and maintain food cost targets.">
  7. Monitor kitchen inventory, manage orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh produce.">
  8. Train and mentor junior kitchen team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.">
  9. Work collaboratively with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth service flow.">
  10. Handle kitchen equipment with care, conduct routine maintenance checks, and report any faults.">
  11. Participate in rostering, scheduling, and shift planning where required.">
  12. Manage kitchen operations during peak hours and in the absence of senior chefs or management.">
  13. Contribute to the development of kitchen systems and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.">

Qualifications and Skills:

We require a minimum 1 year experience working as a Chef in a busy, high-standard kitchen. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure is essential. A strong understanding of kitchen operations, food handling, and hygiene best practices is also necessary.
