Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Electrical Supervisor Job Description

As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee daily activities of employees assigned to a project or their portion of the project.

  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes as necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
  • Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and mentor employees and contractors.
  • Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
  • Educate on safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
  • Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.

Work Environment:

This job operates in various outdoor locations in any type of weather. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is expected.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work overhead, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools. Some work may be at heights up to and exceeding 90 feet and may be in confined spaces. Required Education and Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 7 years trade experience.
  • Employee must have and maintain an OSHA 30 certification
  • Employee must have and maintain a clean, valid driver's license
  • Must have experience and be able to perform all of the duties required of the positions under him/her.
