About the Role
  • Support clients in developing their skills and confidence through adventure-based learning opportunities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation.
  • Promote community inclusion by identifying and facilitating engagement opportunities that cater to clients' interests.
  • Encourage clients to participate in community activities, with support ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4.
  • Foster physical health, communication skills, teamwork, self-confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with people with varying abilities.
  • A strong understanding of supporting clients with diverse needs and requirements.
  • Passion for helping others achieve their goals and personal growth.
  • Organizational skills to maintain programs, update records, and document client progress.
  • Experience working in day center settings and with challenging behaviors.
