We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Windscreen Fitter Apprentice in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

About the Role

As a Windscreen Fitter Apprentice with O'Brien Glass Industries Limited, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the auto glass industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the latest techniques and technologies in windscreen repair and replacement.

This is a full-time apprenticeship position, offering on-the-job training and the chance to gain a nationally recognized qualification. As part of our apprenticeship program, you will be working towards completing the O'Brien Cert III in Automotive Glazing through our O'Brien Auto Technician Skills Development Program.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential for this role.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting experienced technicians in windscreen repair and replacement tasks
  • Developing skills in using various tools and equipment required for the job
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements

To be considered for this apprenticeship opportunity, you must:

  • Be comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face and providing excellent service
  • Hold a valid current driver's license and be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles
  • Have a reliable and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
