Stonemason Position

We are seeking an experienced Stonemason to fill a challenging role in our organization.

  • Fabrication of high-quality benchtops for residential and commercial projects is a key aspect of this position.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in cutting, shaping, and polishing stone using various machinery and hand tools.
  • Able to measure, glue, and manufacture custom stone products to client specifications, the selected candidate will have excellent attention to detail.
  • This role requires operating specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtops and splashbacks.
  • Collaboration with team members to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results is essential.

About You:

  • A stonemasonry trade qualification or relevant experience in the stone industry is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with benchtops, splashbacks, walls, and floors is necessary.
  • Experience operating CNC waterjets and bridge saws is highly desirable.
  • A passion for stonework and a commitment to delivering high-quality results is paramount.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are required.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are expected.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively are crucial.
