Stoneworking Craftsman Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Stoneworking Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for shaping, trimming, polishing, smoothing and cutting of natural stones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shaping, trimming, polishing, smoothing and cutting of natural stones (i.e. marble, granite, reconstituted stone) and its surface;
  • Utilizing hand tools and power tools as required to measure and ascertain dimensions and materials needed;
  • FOLLOWING AND UNDERSTANDING plans and specifications for individual projects;
  • Ensuring granite or marble is leveled and properly aligned using measurements in line with plans;
  • Resizing marble or granite to specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Stonemason essential;
  • Experience in polishing, and manufacturing of marble, granite and reconstituted stone;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A high level of attention to detail;
  • Coordination and practical skills for using trade related tools.
