Job Title: Head of Liquidity Strategy & Planning

This is a unique opportunity to join our team in Group Treasury as the Head of Liquidity Strategy & Planning.

We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of balance sheet funding and liquidity outcomes, who can develop and implement strategies that create value.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in Treasury and/or financial risk management roles at Australian and/or multi-national banks.

They will possess a detailed understanding of bank balance sheets, approaches for managing funding and liquidity risk, including stress testing, regulatory requirements, Treasury systems, and funds transfer pricing.

The successful candidate will also have strong modelling capabilities, be skilled in building highly collaborative relationships, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, analytical and problem-solving skills.

As Head of Liquidity Strategy & Planning, you'll make an impact by:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize balance sheet funding and liquidity outcomes.
  • Informing Board liquidity risk appetite using stress test outcomes.
  • Ensuring that funding and liquidity risks are appropriately measured, monitored, and managed.
  • Supporting customer divisions with the execution of their business strategies.
