About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team at the Safe Haven, a multidisciplinary clinic providing assertive care and follow-up to individuals in distress or suicidal crisis in the Far West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face and telehealth assertive care and follow-up to individuals in distress or suicidal crisis
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and peer workers to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized safety plans and recovery/wellness plans
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the SPOT team
  • Collaborate with peer workers at the Safe Haven to provide clinical support and consultation
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Psychologists, or tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience working in suicide and mental health, including assessment and evidence-based interventions
  • Experience in providing clinical support and/or supervision to mental health clinicians
  • Excellent applied communication skills in a wide range of settings, including verbal and written, and competence in computer skills
  • A willingness to work shift work, including after-hours and weekends as required
