Role Overview

We are seeking a data and AI professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Participating in dynamic consulting and problem-solving projects to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Contributing to internal capability development by shaping how we deliver our services.
  • Building their career within Data and AI through the development of both advisory and technical skills.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to data science projects.
  • Experience with Python or R and familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • An understanding of the data science lifecycle and key activities, approaches, and tools used at each step.
  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services organisation is desirable but not essential.
  • A demonstrated ability to learn and apply new tools, technologies, and approaches to solve complex problems in new ways.
  • Excellent communication skills – including written, verbal, and presentation where you can translate technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand concepts and actions for non-technical audiences.
  • A high level of organisation, time management with the ability to work proactively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A service-focused mind-set with the ability to engage and develop partnerships at all organisational levels and with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think laterally and propose solutions.
  • Self-starting with the ability to drive your own actions while working as part of a team.
Location and Eligibility

For this role, a great Canberra region-based talent is preferred; however, we will consider applicants from other locations who have current Australian Citizenship and a current baseline or higher security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
