Your RoleAre you passionate about all things Data and AI? Are you a natural problem solver that is driven to partner with your team and clients to deliver amazing outcomes? If so, then you might be our next Consultant (Data and AI) to join the xAmplify team.
Partnering with our Head of Innovation, Data and AI, you'll join our multi-disciplinary team where you will have the opportunity to:
- Work across a broad range of technical and advisory projects and client engagements where your dynamic consulting and problem-solving skills will be showcased
- Demonstrate your excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver innovative solutions that support evidenced-based decision making
- Contribute to internal capability development, where you'll help shape how we deliver our services
- Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build your career within Data and AI, through the development of both your advisory and technical skillset.

Your Skills & Experience- Demonstrated experience contributing to data analysis or data science projects working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making
- Experience with Python or R and familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning libraries
- An understanding of the data science lifecycle and the key activities, approaches and tools used at each step
- Previous experience in an Australian Government, private sector Consulting or Professional Services organisation, where you have delivered demonstrated project outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment is desirable but not essential
- A demonstrated ability and desire to learn and apply new tools, technologies and approaches to solve complex problems in new ways. We're interested to hear about what your interests are and how you are looking to grow your technical skills
- Excellent communication skills – including written, verbal, presentation where you can translate technical concepts and terminology into clear and easy to understand concepts and actions for non-technical audiences
- A high level of organisation, time management with the ability to work proactively in a deadline-driven environment
- A service focused mind-set, with the ability to engage and develop partnerships at all organisational levels and with various stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think laterally and propose solutions
- Self-starting, with the ability to drive your own actions, whilst also working as part of a team
For this role, a great Canberra region-based talent is preferred, as we'd love you to be connected to your leader and team on a day-to-day basis however, we will consider applicants from other locations. We work hybrid by design, so you'll have the opportunity to spend time on client site, xAmplify HQ and also work from home.
Key EligibilityxAmplify partners with a diverse client base, including Federal Government, Defence, Enterprise, State Government, and Private Sector. As a result, we're looking for candidates with current Australian Citizenship and a current baseline or higher security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
