Solicitor in Outreach Program

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced First Nations lawyer to build and maintain reciprocal relationships with First Nations communities.

Key Responsibilities include practising culturally safe legal engagement, education and legal reform on cultural heritage issues facing First Nations peoples.

  • A practicing certificate or entitlement to one
  • A minimum of 2 years PAE desired for Solicitor level (a minimum of 5 years PAE desired for Senior Solicitor level)
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: legal outreach, legal education, administrative law, environmental law and/or cultural heritage law
