CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

As a CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST, you will partner with various stakeholders to develop solutions that address the Organisational Capability strategy for the business.

This role focuses on building a culture of internal growth and success across the group by using your proactive self to develop and govern the capability frameworks.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the People strategy by working as part of a small team to deliver on critical remediation projects.
  • Collaboratively develop competency frameworks that define the skills, behaviours, and knowledge required for various and differing functions across the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement across different departments and organisational levels.
  • Work collaboratively with internal divisions to provide capability solutions.
  • Provide individual coaching and mentoring to employees, supporting their capability development and career progression.
  • Analyse data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent development initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Focussed experience working in organisational development roles, direct exposure to developing capability frameworks & assessments, and/or involvement in leadership development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to tailor advice and solutions with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and coaching, and facilitation.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and using metrics to drive decision-making.
