  • Build and lead a distributed team of engineers through strategic hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development
  • Demonstrate sound engineering principles by directly contributing to your team's goals
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs
  • Effectively manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelize best engineering and organizational practices
  • Cultivate a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with our values
  • Participate actively in the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about software development
  • Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring software developers
  • Comfortable planning and executing to deliver timely, high-quality software

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field
  • Experience with embedded software
  • Experience with Golang, C/C++, and Shell
  • Strong understanding of Linux and a modern GNU/Linux distribution, Debian or Ubuntu preferred
