About the Opportunity

We seek an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from initiation to completion.

This individual will provide technical expertise to team members, identify, mitigate, and manage project risks while maintaining high levels of safety and environmental compliance.

  • Provide technical guidance to team members on various engineering projects
  • Manage and execute multiple engineering projects simultaneously
  • Recognize and mitigate potential project risks

This candidate will be a crucial part of our asset management team, working towards delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Technical support for team members on multiple engineering projects
  2. Project management from inception to completion
  3. Risk assessment, mitigation, and control
  4. Weekly progress reporting, cost monitoring, and project tracking
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the mining/resources industry
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
