Dams Mechanical Expert

We are seeking a Technical Director or Senior Mechanical Engineer to expand our specialist team of dams mechanical engineers. The ideal candidate will deliver innovative solutions and high-quality projects for clients, while helping to develop a robust, skilled, and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens, and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure for projects globally.
- Lead and oversee delivery of quality technical solutions and successful project outcomes that satisfy client needs.
- Mentor and work closely with the rest of the team to develop sustainable capability.
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, and experience in the mechanical engineering aspects of water storage dams.
- Experience at all project phases, including project identification, feasibility studies, conceptual design, reference design, and detailed design.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks, and screens, fishways, pipe work, valves, and other mechanical equipment associated with dams.
- Experience in risk assessments and dam safety inspections or condition assessments of hydromechanical plant.
- Successful development and growth of strong client relationships.
