Job Description

As a mechanical project engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation phases of capital projects across various disciplines. Your role will involve managing technical details while balancing stakeholder engagement, risk management, and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engineering resources to ensure compliance with industry standards in business processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver capital and technical agendas during the development phase of projects.
  • Apply senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience working in FMCG industries, preferably food and beverage sectors.
  • Strong project management skills and an agile mindset.
  • Experience in food processing, automation, and packaging systems, including batch preparation and processing, automation solutions, AGV systems, SCADA & instrumentations, conveying and palletising systems, Australian standards and regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Building management systems and services knowledge.

Preference is given to candidates with experience in confectionary process and hazardous dust control.
