Asset Planner Job Description

The core of our operations revolve around serving the communities we are dedicated to. Our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit delivers critical thinking, building, maintenance, and sustainment behind Australia and New Zealand's essential public assets, facilities, and community services.

We run hospitals, manage data centres, take asset management risk, and act as a trusted advisor and partner to our Defence Forces. We embody our purpose: enabling our communities to thrive.

This role provides strategic asset planning solutions including annual preventative maintenance plans, coordination of Whole of Life principles, and maintenance best practice recommendations.

The key responsibilities encompass:

- Ensuring contract obligations through supporting adherence to Contract Management Plan and Asset management Plan.
- Coordination of daily asset planning activities, including preventative and reactive works.
- Continual refinement of maintenance plans.
- Generation of maintenance performance reports and required asset management reports from CMMS system, spreadsheets, and SPM Software.

Key skills include trade or degree qualifications in an engineering field, technical benchmarking qualifications, business analytical skills relating to maintenance management, database systems, and maintenance methodologies.
