Job Overview

A leadership role is available to oversee the delivery of pastoral and spiritual services across Queensland hospitals and aged care homes. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure that every action reflects our core values.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in pastoral and spiritual care, preferably within a health or aged care setting. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering an inclusive approach to care that respects all faiths and cultures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pastoral and spiritual practitioners, guiding the overall direction and delivery of services.

  • Uphold our Catholic identity while driving impactful change.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local clergy and religious congregations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in pastoral and spiritual care.
  • Minimum two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), one at Advanced level.
  • Tertiary qualification in medicine, nursing, ministry, or social science desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
