Job Title: Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
\We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end weekly payroll processing, including preparing PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, Portable Redundancy Fund, Long Service Leave, and Superannuation returns and payments.
\You will also oversee the leadership of the payroll function, interpreting complex awards and EBAs, calculating and processing termination payments, and managing payroll-based adjustments such as back pays, WorkCover, and taxation requirements.
\In addition, you will execute a regular internal audit schedule, perform full T&A and Payroll System maintenance and administration, and engage with senior stakeholders and employees.

Requirements:
\To be successful in this role, you will require:
\- \
- More than 5 years experience of end-to-end weekly payroll processing (in-house)\
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills\
- Proven process improvement initiatives\
- The ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines\
- Extensive and current knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance\
- Experience with and are comfortable interpreting multiple Awards/EBA's/Employment contracts\
- Scheduled and adhoc payroll reporting experience\
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the business\
