Staff Anaesthetist Career Opportunity

This is an opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest in anaesthesia, including obstetrics and regional, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education and wellbeing.
As a senior staff specialist or staff anaesthetist, you will participate in quality improvement opportunities to continue improving healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthetic services within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
- Develop areas of clinical interest within anaesthesia, including obstetrics and regional, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education and wellbeing.
- Participate in quality improvement opportunities to improve health services.
Ideal Candidate:
- You should have skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics.
- A scope of practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years or younger) is desirable.
- An interest or experience in Intensive Care management of patients is beneficial.

What We Offer:
- A permanent role with job security and flexible hours/roster arrangements negotiable (FIFO available).
- A remuneration package from $525,850 up to $650,288 p.a.
- Base salary rates between $210,332 and $266,677 p.a. (f/t) (L18-L27).
- An attraction and retention incentive allowance 50% base p.a. salary.
- A regional and rural attraction allowance 15% base p.a. salary.
- An inaccessibility allowance of $34,500 p.a.
- A motor vehicle allowance.
- Five weeks p.a. annual leave with 17.5% loading.
- A 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- A professional development allowance.
