Position Overview
Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to lead the financial operations of our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the College's finances, resources, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee the school's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources to support the school's strategic goals and educational programs.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. Manage risk and implement best practices in governance and operations.
- HR Management: Oversee the administration of staff, including contracts, leave management, and rural incentives.
- Facilities Management: Manage the maintenance and development of school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with school leadership, staff, parents, and the community to support the school's mission and vision.
Selection Criteria
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in relevant financial and administrative software.
- Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated high level of written and oral presentation skills.
Qualifications Required
- Post graduate qualifications, such as CPA, CA or MBA qualifications.
- Current Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
