Village Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Village Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our property and development team, you will be responsible for the effective management and operations of a retirement village.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain accurate records of incidents and issues.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to identify and mitigate new risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and insurance obligations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance systems, policies, and procedures for the village.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents and their representative committees.
- Manage village finances, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Oversee maintenance of residences and facilities, ensuring compliance with resident contracts.
- Operate within the Delegation of Authority and manage the annual village budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in village management, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Valid driver's license and clear police record.
